Why are people on the left so darn smart?

The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775 – they have had 236 years to get it right; it is broke.

Social Security was established in 1935 – the smart people have had 76 years to get it right; it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938 – they have had 73 years to get it right; it is broke.

The “War on Poverty” started in 1964 – the elites have had 47 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor”; it hasn’t worked and our entire country is broke.

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 – they’ve had 46 years to get it right; they are broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970 – they have had 41 years to get it right; it is broke.

Trillions of dollars were spent in the massive political payoffs called TARP, the “Stimulus”, the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009… none show any signs of working.

So with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that "free services” are very expensive, they want Americans to believe we can trust a government with omnipotent power?

Boy those college-educated geniuses are sure smart for supporting more of this. All us poor Tea people can do is look at the evidence and reach a logical conclusion.

So much for facts, let's try something more ethereal:
The idea of liberty is abstract to those who posses it so they willing head out of liberty toward "security" and end up crushed under the heal of oppression. Only then is liberty not abstract. That is an eternal irony.

I wonder why the smart educated people are unable to realize that their liberty will be taken with just as much zeal as those stupid Tea Partiers?

So smart.

Here are some historical references for those smart people:

"Where you find the laws most numerous, there you will find also the greatest injustice." - Arcesilaus

"Law is mind without reason." - Aristotle

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive." - Thomas Jefferson

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - George Washington

"In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit." - Ayn Rand

As you can see us Tea Partiers are just a bunch of uneducated dolts unable to even stand in the shadows of the educated smart people.

The liar, the witch and the old whore

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're number one. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The three of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."
