The thug gets his army of thugs

I'm not sure what part of, so-called, "health Care Reform" building your own army of storm troopers is but then I'm just a simple guy not as wise in the ways of the world as the elites on high.

I said this here on this blog on Thursday, July 9, 2009:

The Fraud wants a "civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the United States military".

What kind of person embraces an idea like that?

A despot

Well believe it or not the despot in the white house and his criminal enablers in Washington have the provision for just such an army in the recent attack on liberty known as Health Care Reform. For those who think that talk of this great country turining into a third world police state is silly or delisunal take note. Those of us who know more than what we see and are told on CNN, PBS and the rest of the government controlled media have known this to be possible all along.

It is possible because people are the same everywhere and history is full of examples of free people becoming enslaved to opressive governments.

The idea of liberty is an abstract concept to many who posses it so they willingly leave liberty behind as they embrace "security" and end up crushed under the heal of oppression. Only then is liberty not abstract. That is an eternal irony.

This process is repeated over and over again throughout history. It has been happening here for a generation or more and of late the pace has quickened because the enemies of freedom are near their goal. However the curtain has been pulled aside and we see to our horror that the evil we have read about in the past exists in the present.

We should remind ourselves the pathological narcissists are often the most power hungry people; they will say anything they will do anything.

In any human social system the struggle is the same; the worst are always hungriest for control. They are always cheating, always leveraging, always marginalizing and chipping away; looking to take what they know is not theirs and keep it forever.

Those are the type of people who have seized power. We owe it to ourselves to admit this and accept that is where we are. It is dangerous to believe the illusion that we have a rational relationship with the government-media-complex.

Evidence of this irrational relationship is found starting on page 1312 of the so-called HCR bill. In part it reads:

...
8 SEC. 5209. ELIMINATION OF CAP ON COMMISSIONED
9 CORPS.
10 Section 202 of the Department of Health and Human
11 Services Appropriations Act, 1993 (Public Law 102–394)
12 is amended by striking ‘‘not to exceed 2,800’’.
13 SEC. 5210. ESTABLISHING A READY RESERVE CORPS.
14 Section 203 of the Public Health Service Act (42
15 U.S.C. 204) is amended to read as follows:
16 ‘‘SEC. 203. COMMISSIONED CORPS AND READY RESERVE
17 CORPS.
18 ‘‘(a) ESTABLISHMENT.—
19 ‘‘(1) IN GENERAL.—There shall be in the Service
20 a commissioned Regular Corps and a Ready Reserve
21 Corps for service in time of national emergency.

...

1313
HR 3590 EAS/PP
1 compensated without regard to the Classification Act
2 of 1923, as amended.
3 ‘‘(3) APPOINTMENT.—Commissioned officers of
4 the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the
5 President and commissioned officers of the Regular
6 Corps shall be appointed by the President with the
7 advice and consent of the Senate.
8 ‘‘(4) ACTIVE DUTY.—Commissioned officers of the
9 Ready Reserve Corps shall at all times be subject to
10 call to active duty by the Surgeon General, including
11 active duty for the purpose of training.
12 ‘‘(5) WARRANT OFFICERS.—Warrant officers
13 may be appointed to the Service for the purpose of
14 providing support to the health and delivery systems
15 maintained by the Service and any warrant officer
16 appointed to the Service shall be considered for pur17
poses of this Act and title 37, United States Code, to
18 be a commissioned officer within the Commissioned
19 Corps of the Service.

Am I too reactionary believing that is a really bad thing? History tells me no. I do not wish it to be so. I wish I could believe that these forces will not fulfill the purpose of intimidating and harming the good people of this country.

Like I said that is a dangerous illusion.

True patriots pray not for bloodshed but for the restoration of the United States Of America. The means to that restoration is peaceful if our antagonists will allow it. The choice is theirs not ours.

The whole bill is here if you wish to see the passage that I excerpted above. The passage in question starts on page 1312, it is a large PDF so it will take a while to load.

  1. I've written about Obama's desire for a private army (See this post) and am 100 percent against it. That said, I just read through the cited section and, IMHO, it refers to the U.S. Public Health Service, not to a private army. As a former Air Force officer, I see this section of the bill giving the USPH the same commissioned officer-reserve officer set up that the other uniformed services have. For example: I started out as a Reserve officer, earned my Regular commission, resigned my Regular commission and then was made a part of the Ready Reserve (for emergency call-up) for a period of a few years. Hope I didn't burst anyone's bubble.

  2. No bubble to burst. The truth is always accepted.

I believe your historical take, however I know the crook in the White House will use any tool at his disposal to further his ends.

    Thanks for the comment.
